TIPS 4 : Qur'an ( Ayat-al-Kursi)

Ayat-al-Kursi or Ayatul Kursi one of the verses of Al Qur'an.
( Surah Al Baqarah ; verse 255) .

When I was a kid  my parent made me memorize this verse.

Note: The below article from  http://www.islamicinformationcentre.co.uk/alkursi.htm

The merits of Ayat al-Kursi have been mentioned in numerous hadiths. Although the Quran itself and every verse therein are of excellence, Ayat al-Kursi is certainly the most excellent verse of all its verses.

The reason why Ayat al-Kursi is the most excellent verse, is that this verse mentions the names of Allah Most High more than any other verse (i.e. this verse contains the most remembrance (dhikr) of Allah Most High). For example, some verses of the Quran may mention the names of Allah Most High two times, some may mention the names of Allah Most High four times, and some ten times. But in Ayat al-Kursi, the names of Allah Most High have been mentioned seventeen times. Ayat al-Kursi mentions six attributes (sifat) of Allah Most High, all six being mentioned in this single verse. The attributes mentioned are: the Divine Oneness (Wahdaniyyah) of Allah Most High, His Life (Hayah), His Knowledge (?Ilm), His Kingdom (Mulk), His Divine Power (Qudrah) and His Will (Iradah).

Imam Darmi writes that the Devil flees from a home in which Ayat al-Kursi is recited, and does not return until the next morning. Abu Sanan (Allah be well pleased with him) reported that whomsoever reads the first four verses of Surah al-Baqarah, Ayat al-Kursi, and then the last three verses of Surah al-Baqarah will not forget the Quran. Ishaq added that whatever one learns, would not be forgotten. Asma? bint Yazid (Allah be well pleased with her) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said that al-ism al-a?zam (The greatest name of Allah Most High) is contained within Ayat al-Kursi.

Note:  the below article from  http://nouralovee.blogspot.com/2012/01/benefits-of-ayat-al-kursi.html

Hadhrat Abu Qatada (RA) narrates that Prophet (SAW) : Whoever reads Ayatul Kursi and the last verse of Surah Baqarah when in difficulty, then Allah listens to that plea."

Hadhrat Ibne Anas (ra) says the Prophet (saw) said: The one who recites Ayatul Kursi after every Fard Salat, Allah will grant him a gratifying heart, actions of the truthful and reward like the prophets (ambiya) .Special mercies will descend upon him, and death is the only barrier from his entrance into Jannat. On dying he will enter Jannat"

Hadhrat Ibne Masood (ra) says that a person requested Rasulallaah (saw) to teach him something that will benefit him. "Nabi (saw) said "Read Ayatul Kursi, it will protect you, your children, home and even those houses surrounding your house."

Holy Prophet (SAW) said: Qur’an is a great word, and Surah Baqarah is the leader of the Qur’an and Ayatul Kursi is the leader of Surah Baqarah. In Ayatul Kursi there are 50 words and for each word there are 50 blessings and good in it

Allah told Prophet Musa (AS): If one recites it after every salat, the Almighty will make his heart a thankful one (Shakireen), will give him a reward of the prophets, and his deeds will be like those of the truthful (Siddiqeen).

Holy prophet (SAW) said: whoever recites the first 4 verses of Surah Baqarah, then Ayatul Kursi and then the last 3 verses of Surah Al  Baqarah, will not be inflicted with any kind of difficulty in his wealth or himself, Satan will not come near him and he will not forget the Qur’an.

Tips  :

When one is alone in the house, recitation of Ayatul Kursi and asking Allah for help will make you remain calm and you will not fear .

TIPS 4 : Qur'an ( 3 Quls)

The "3 Quls" are the last three chapters (Surahs) in the Qur’an.

112.“Qul huwa Allahu Ahad” (Surah Al-Ikhlas)
113.“Qul A’ouzu brabbil falaq” (Surah Al-Falaq)
114.“Qul A’ouzu birabbinnaas” (Surah Al-Naas)

Recite the "3 Quls"  every morning and night ... ideally 3 times .... for protection ...

TIPS 4 : Qur'an (Surah Al Fatihah)

Surah Al-Fatihah is the first Surah of the Qur'an. In various Hadith it is described as "the mother of the Book" (Umm al-Kitab) and "the mother of the Qur'an" (Umm al-Qur'an). It is also known to be "the cure of diseases" ("Sura-tul-shifa").

Muhammad al-Bukhari recorded in his collection:

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
While we were on one of our journeys, we dismounted at a place where a slave girl came and said, "The chief of this tribe has been stung by a scorpion and our men are not present; is there anybody among you who can treat him (by reciting something)?" Then one of our men went along with her though we did not think that he knew any such treatment. But he treated the chief by reciting something, and the sick man recovered whereupon he gave him thirty sheep and gave us milk to drink (as a reward). When he returned, we asked our friend, "Did you know how to treat with the recitation of something?" He said, "No, but I treated him only with the recitation of the Mother of the Book (i.e., Al-Fatiha)." We said, "Do not say anything (about it) till we reach or ask the Prophet so when we reached Medina, we mentioned that to the Prophet (in order to know whether the sheep which we had taken were lawful to take or not). The Prophet said, "How did he come to know that it (Al-Fatiha) could be used for treatment? Distribute your reward and assign for me one share thereof as well."
—Muhammad al-Bukhari, Sahih al-Bukhari[13][14]

Note : Al-fatiha used for cure. But make sure you recite correctly ...
